Itinerary
Day 01 :
ARRIVE IN HANOI - HALF DAY CITY TOUR - TRAIN STREET
Begin your journey at 1:30 pm with a pick-up from your hotel, heading straight to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university established in the 11th century. Explore its tranquil courtyards and learn about its fascinating role in shaping Vietnamese education. Next, delve into the city's wartime history at the Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Originally built by French colonists, this haunting site later housed American POWs during the Vietnam War, earning the nickname "Hanoi Hilton." Through exhibits and displays, gain a deeper understanding of this pivotal period. Your tour concludes by 4:30 pm, leaving you with a newfound appreciation for Hanoi's historical tapestry and ample time to explore the city further with the train street. |
Day 02 :
NINH BINH HOA LU - TRANG AN DAY TRIP
- Embark on an enriching expedition through the captivating landscapes of Ninh Binh province, commencing at 7:30 in the morning with a warm welcome from our amiable guide.
- At 9:15, take a brief interlude to rejuvenate your spirits amidst the serene surroundings. Then, at 10:30, delve into the annals of Vietnamese history as you explore Hoa Lư, the ancient capital dating back to the 10th century. Immerse yourself in tales of dynastic rule under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.
- At 11:45, indulge in a sumptuous buffet lunch featuring an array of local delicacies, catering to all palates including vegetarians. Replenished, journey forth to Trang An at 13:00, where a mesmerizing bamboo boat ride awaits, offering vistas reminiscent of a terrestrial paradise dubbed "Ha Long Bay on land".
- Following this enchanting boat trip, at 15:00, embark on a leisurely 45-minute bicycle ride through the idyllic village, gaining insight into the daily lives of the local populace.
- As the day draws to a close, at 16:00, bid farewell to Ninh Binh and journey back to Hanoi, arriving at your hotel by 18:00, brimming with memories of an unforgettable day steeped in culture and natural splendor.
Day 03 :
HANOI - HALONG BAY OVERNIGHT CRUISE
- 8.30 AM Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and begin your journey to Halong Bay.
- This journey will take you through the Red River Delta where you can see the everyday life of the Vietnamese Villagers.
- Upon arriving at Halong, board a traditional sailing junk and get greeted by the crew members.
- Discover some of the treasures disseminated across the Bay of the Descending Dragon during the afternoon: fascinating caves, pristine beaches, picturesque floating villages, and fantastic rock formations rising up out of emerald water.
- After having a delicious lunch on board, spend the rest of the time at leisure, wherein you can choose to attend our chef's cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking.
- Spend the rest of the evening on the sundeck of your cruise and admire the colors of the sunset painting the sky.
- Later, have your dinner accompanied by a wide selection of wines and beverages (additional cost for drinks) along with various entertainment options like - movie night, squid fishing, etc.
- You can also choose to enjoy your drink by sitting relaxedly surrounded by limestone rocks majestically springing out from silent waters in the night.
Day 04 :
CRUISE - HANOI - EVEING TRAIN TO DONG HOI (train tickets included)
- Start your day with breakfast between 7:00 and 7:45 AM, savoring the morning view of Halong Bay’s breathtaking landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. At 8:00 AM, immerse yourself in the stunning scenery of the bay and its dramatic limestone islets. Visit the famous Frog Pond, where you can freely kayak, explore the picturesque surroundings, or take a refreshing swim in the serene waters.
- By 9:15 AM, return to your cabin to relax and ensure all your luggage is ready for departure. At 9:30 AM, check out from your private cabin and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay while room service attends to your needs. Complete the check-out procedure and relish your last meal on the cruise, soaking in the majestic views one last time.
- At 11:30 AM, the cruise will dock at Tuan Chau Harbor. Bid farewell to the crew and disembark, marking the end of your memorable cruise. Between 12:00 and 12:30 PM, board the bus for your return journey to Hanoi. Enjoy the scenic drive back, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of the day. Arrive in Hanoi between 3:00 and 3:30 PM, concluding a perfect day of adventure and relaxation in Halong Bay.
- Refresh in our office then take the night train from Hanoi to Dong Hoi at 8.00 PM or 9.00 PM
Day 05 :
ARRIVE IN DONG HOI - PHONG NHA CAVE - PARADISE CAVE - OVERNIGHT IN DONG HOI
- 08h00: Pick up from train station in Dong Hoi
- 08h45 – 09h00: Arrive in Phong Nha, you will explore the most impressive Phong Nha caves. After 25 minutes on boat, visitors will arrive Phong Nha cave, take a couple hours to see the cave. This cave is called as water cave, is famous for its rock formation which has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”.
- 12h30: Lunch at local restaurant before exploring National Park in the afternoon.
- 13h30 – 16h00: Visit Paradise cave – the Cave was labeled the World’s most beautiful and magnificent. It has the length of 31.4 kms and is the longest dry cave in Asia. With naturally primitive features, Paradise Cave looks like a landscape painting, making it very attractive to visitors.
Day 06 :
MORNING TRAIN FROM DONG HOI TO DA NANG - OVER HAI VAN PASS - REACH DA NANG AROUND 12.30 PM - FREE TIME TO ENJOY THE BEACH (train tickets included)
Start your day with a scenic morning train ride from Dong Hoi to Da Nang, passing through the breathtaking landscapes of central Vietnam. As the train travels over the stunning Hai Van Pass, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the coastline, lush mountains, and the shimmering sea. Arrive in Da Nang around 12:30 PM, where you'll have the rest of the day free to relax and unwind. Take this opportunity to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Da Nang, known for their soft white sands and clear blue waters, offering a perfect setting for a peaceful afternoon. |
Day 07 :
BANA HILL DAY TRIP - FANTASY PARK
- 8:00AM Transfer to Ba Na hills (35km from Danang center) and get on the Sunworld Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung Pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden…flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and Linh Ung Pagoda. Enjoy a walk across the famous Golden Bridge and admire the panoramic view over the area of mountain and lush trees.
- Have lunch by your own choices.
- After lunch, free for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with a series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, the death race, dinosaur park…

Day 08 :
COCONUT BOAT TRIP - HOI AN TOWN
- 12.00 – 12.15: The van and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel (Da Nang area)
- Start your adventure with Cam Thanh Coconut for being a fisherman at Cam Thanh Coconut Village, you will experience about learning traditional fishing techniques and how to row unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the tranquil coconut palm waterways of the past war. On this tour, we provide authentic social and cultural insight into the local way of life in Vietnam. Furthermore, you will take part in some hands-on activities which are fun, safe, and interested are suitable for everybody.
- About 2.30 pm: Visit to the next destination to Hoi An Old Town.
- Go to the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, a colorful mélange of bright gates, dragon statues, and elaborate rooftops. Get an introduction to ancestor worship while visiting the family altar and watching local devotees making offerings.
- You will see remarkably well-preserved old houses Phung Hung Ancient House or Tan Ky Ancient House that have withstood 200 years of weather and war. Learn about the prosperous merchants who used to live in these homes, trading with buyers from all around the world. Especially, you will enjoy art shows at Hoi An Traditional Performing Arts House.
- Make a stop at the Japanese Bridge. The bridge spans a small waterway and was constructed more than 400 years ago to connect the Japanese community with the Chinese who lived on the other side of the water. Admire the carvings and paintings inside the bridge, learning about their symbolism and cultural significance.
- Additionally, visit some of Hoi An’s well-known handicraft shops and artwork galleries. Discover smaller laneways and local neighborhoods, gaining a better appreciation of Hoi An’s endless charm.
- Dinner with Hoi An specialty food.
- 6.00 pm: Enjoy your time with the boat ride on Hoai River and release the flower lanterns to pray for the best lucks to you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the fanciful space of the lantern street. Free your time with the night market and enjoy the shimmering space of Hoi An.6.30 pm – Return to your hotel.
Day 09 :
FREE TIME FOR LEISURE - DEPARTURE
- Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, our attentive driver will transfer you to the airport for a flight back home.
- Your amazing Vietnam Tour ends as you get dropped at the airport.
